- Will the AI post things I didn't approve?
- By default, every drafted reply sits in your queue until you personally approve it — nothing posts to YouTube without your sign-off. Turning on Trust Mode lets you choose which comment types (like straightforward praise) are allowed to auto-post, and you can switch back to reviewing everything yourself at any time.
- What happens to my Google/YouTube permissions?
- Google's consent screen during setup shows broad-sounding wording — "edit and delete your videos, ratings, comments and captions" — because that's the entire write-access scope YouTube's API offers; there's no narrower "comments-only" permission to request. CommentAgent's code only ever reads your video list and reads/writes comments — it never calls the video, caption, or rating deletion endpoints. You can review or revoke access any time from your Google Account's connected apps settings.
- Can I turn it off any time?
- You can pause CommentAgent any time from Settings — a one-click Pause Agent switch stops polling, drafting, and posting immediately, without disconnecting your channel. Cancelling your subscription entirely works the same way, through the Manage Billing link in Settings, no email required.
- Does it work for [niche] channels?
- CommentAgent works on any YouTube channel regardless of niche or content type — classification and reply drafting are based on what's actually said in your comments and videos, not a fixed list of supported topics, so it works the same whether you make gaming videos, cooking tutorials, or B2B SaaS explainers.
- What if I have over 1M subscribers?
- The Growth plan covers channels up to 3M subscribers. Past that, the Enterprise plan is built for large channels and agencies managing multiple channels — get in touch and we'll set you up with dedicated quota.
- How is my data used?
- Your comments and video data are used only to operate CommentAgent for your account — classification, reply drafting, and your reports — and are sent to our AI providers (currently Groq, and Anthropic for select features) solely to do that processing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
- What languages does it support?
- CommentAgent automatically detects the language each comment is written in and drafts its reply in that same language — no configuration needed on your end.
- What happens if I go over my plan's limit?
- You'll get an alert once you're close to your daily limit, and processing resumes automatically at midnight Pacific if you do hit it — no comments are lost, they're just picked up on the next cycle. Need more headroom permanently? Upgrade any time.
